Vice President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, with responsibility for Economic Development and the Green Economy, Energy, Vocational Training, Universities and Research, and International Relations.
From 2020 to 2024, he served as Regional Councillor for Economic Development and the Green Economy, Labour, Training, and International Relations. Previously, he was Regional Secretary General of CGIL Emilia-Romagna and Deputy Secretary General of CGIL at the national level. He has worked on industrial innovation, networks, energy, the transport system, infrastructure, publicly owned enterprises, credit, and the service sector. He has contributed to numerous studies, research projects, and publications.
